The CRASHES

On Thursday, January 7th, I got home from work about 2:30. I decided to take Taylor to work early, because it was snowing and the roads were a little slippery.

As I was driving we saw several bad drivers. So I took that as a teaching moment. I put the truck into 4 wheel drive and told Taylor and Tiffany to watch the cars slip and slide all over the place. As I just start to accelerate from putting the truck into 4 wheel drive. One of the kids say "HE IS GOING TO HIT US!". Sure enough the dumb ass hit us.

Now my anxiety level is high! I'm instantly sick to my stomach and I NEED Mike for help. So I call 911 and I tell the kids to call there Dad. So the call to 911 went really well and fast, but the call to Mike was not so easy.
Tiffany "Dad, we were in a car accident and Mom wants you to Come."
"Cuz she, Yes, I don't no."

Me "Just tell him forget it! I just wanted him to come!"

So several minutes later Mike rounds the corner. I step behind the truck so I can mouth to him "can you believe this." When Tiffany Yells "DADS GOING TO HITS US!" (thank God for the yelling!)

So I step out of the way, and sure enough I get hit again!! Yes by my husband.

He gets out of the car and said something like "How did that happen?"
(I don't think anyone wants to here my answer!)

I'm standing there with one man I don't know, that smashed the front of my truck, and a man I called for help, that smashed the back of my truck and the front of my car. Please tell me who am I upset with, and why does Mike think this is funny?

It took the full weekend before I was able to laugh about this double crash moment. Amy had ask Tiffany what I said when Mike hit me? I know the F word was part of what I said, but I'm not sure what I said. (I think I was in shock, cuz he is still living! haha)

However Tiffany just wants to know "How many times do you think the spouse hits a spouse that has already been hit?"

This is a late post but I could not pass it up!

Hehe!! Definitely never heard of a spouse hitting a spouse who has already been hit:)

Three things: glad you got out of they way, glad you can now laugh about it, and finally glad you are ALL okay!!

I do know what you said and wish I could have been there, but you probably would have been mad at me for laughing:) Sorry!!

Unbelievable - good thing you got pictures and witnesses to back you up when you are a grandparent and tell this story!
